First retrofit of a MABEG ReelSheeter RS 104 on Heidelberg Press XL105
In July 2013, MABEG Systems GmbH in Germany has successfully executed the very first retrofit of a MABEG ReelSheeter RS 104 on a Heidelberg press, XL105-10-P (2008 model), at a customer’s location in Mexico.
A few superior benefits:
- Utilization of cheaper web materials on sheetfed presses
- The variable setting of the cutoff length is at the touch screen display (without using any tools); thus allowing for additional savings on paper costs
- The cutoff length at the MABEG ReelSheeter RS may be easily set in steps of .004” by simply entering the corresponding numbers at the touch screen
- Very smooth running conditions (working from a roll leading to extremely low stopper rates) offer cost-efficient production
